DIVE PLANNER DOWNLOAD
First, the Instructions on use
Use the TAB key or click to navigate within the Planner Click the TASK BAR entries to navigate between the Planner and the Table Displays.
The active tables will be available for review once the appropriate Certification selection is made. The tables are also available following each dive calculation.
During dive calculations, the table displays are closed and regenerated. If you close a table display by clicking on the "X" in the upper right corner, the tables can be regenerated by clicking on the certification notice at the top of the Planner screen.
Once any portion of a dive is calculated, the table displays will have the affecting entries highlighted in BOLD and underscored.
All Depths used in the Planner are expressed in Feet. All Times used in the Planner are expressed in Minutes. (ie: 120 = two hours, 78 = 1 hour, 18 minutes)
Graphics and Messages
Graphics:
Dives
requiring a safety stop, or dives within two minutes of NDL Limit will show a
YELLOW graphic.
Dives
at the NDL Limit, or at the maximum bottom time for a depth will display a RED
graphic.
MESSAGES:
"SAFETY STOP RECOMMENDED" - Any dive over 60 feet -YELLOW GRAPHIC
"SAFETY STOP REQUIRED" - Any dive within two minutes of NDL - YELLOW GRAPHIC
"SAFETY STOP REQUIRED! MAX.POSS.SI RECOMMENDED" & "EDGE OF NDC ENVELOPE-DON'T EXTEND DIVE!" - Any dive AT the NDL limit - RED GRAPHIC - Maximize ALL following SI's
General Rules
NEVER:
Exceed your dive plan parameters
Your level of dive certification and training.
Exceed 30 feet per minute on ascent
Hold your breath
ALWAYS:
Do the recommended safety stops
Pay CLOSE attention to the difference between the MBT and TBT on any given dive. This is 'LEEWAY' in terms of dive safety.
Technical Stuff
Appears best with a Video display of 800x600 pixels

Unzip the downloaded packet into a temporary folder, and run the SETUP.EXE.
